"i didn't eat for three days so i could be lovely..."

Okay, don't do that. I am not here to advocate eating disorders. But I LOVE Cassie Ainsworth from the UK teen show Skins. And what makes her lovely isn't her frail figure, but her adorable thrift store/vintage style and spacey personality. She is just too cute with her imperfect teeth and humongous smile.

I only just started to watch the show on the recommendation of many friends, and I definitely see what I've been missing. The show itself is well-written, hilarious, and heart-wrenching at the same time. I was instantly inspired by Cassie's tulle hair pins, sailor shirts, vintage red lips, and socks with her tights. She'd make a fabulous thrift store shopping buddy. I decided to find some pieces I think Cassie would approve of. "Oh, wow! Lovely!"

    A lot of my friends are obsessed with that show. I feel like I should check it out (to at least be pop-culture-knowledgeable) but I don't want to get addicted or anything. I'll just take everyone's word for it.

    I think you did a great job picking pieces Cassie would LOVE. Cassie and Sid were my favorite thing about Skins. It's never been the same for me.
